Uptake Named to "LinkedIn Top Companies | Startups" List

Uptake was named today to LinkedIn's Top Companies | Startups. We were listed 26th on the list of 50 companies, which uses unique LinkedIn data to rank venture-backed startups that are growing fast, attracting attention and recruiting top talent. Companies named to the top 5 spots on the list included Uber, Airbnb, WeWork, Lyft and Slack.

To surface the companies, LinkedIn looked at "billions of actions of [the network's] more than 500 million members to determine employee growth, job seeker interest via views and applications, member engagement with the company and its employees--and how well these startups pulled talent from the flagship LinkedIn Top Companies list," wrote LinkedIn Editor in Chief Daniel Roth.

To be eligible, companies must be 10 years old or younger, have at least 100 employees, remain independent and privately held, and have at least one round of venture-backed funding.
