Frost & Sullivan has recognized Uptake for its 2020 Frost Radar Award for Growth, Leadership, and Innovation in predictive maintenance for medium- to heavy-duty trucking.
Predictive maintenance helps fleets move beyond time- and use-based maintenance strategies to condition-based intervals that detect issues with vehicles before they result in roadside breakdowns, extended downtime, derates, or expensive replacements. More than 100,000 commercial vehicles are using Uptake Fleet to increase availability and optimize maintenance costs.
"Uptake Fleet is built around pre-trained predictive models," said Jagadeesh Chandran, Best Practices Research Analyst, Frost & Sullivan. "The solution deploys machine learning-based anomaly detection to analyze and correlate different signals in real time when there are deviations from the normal pattern. This approach makes Uptake future-proof when a new technology or configuration is introduced into the vehicle."
This recognition from Frost & Sullivan comes as Uptake recently announced the deployment of its software by PepsiCo.
