Brad Keywell

A lifelong entrepreneur and philanthropist, Brad is co-founder of seven technology companies. In addition to Uptake, he is a founding investor in Tempus and co-founder of Groupon, Echo Global Logistics, MediaOcean, Drivin and the venture capital firm Lightbank. He is on the Board of Trustees of Equity Residential and is the founder and Chairman of Chicago Ideas, which has grown into one of the largest innovation and ideas gatherings in the world. Brad is the Chairman of Future Founders, a non-profit that believes every youth can become an entrepreneur.

Ganesh Bell

Ganesh Bell

A veteran of Silicon Valley and enterprise software, Ganesh came to Uptake from GE, where he was Chief Digital Officer of GE and the CEO of GE Power Digital Solutions. Ganesh’s breadth of expertise spans platforms, analytics and enterprise applications across leaders like SAP, PeopleSoft & J.D.Edwards. In 2017, he was named to Fast Company’s list of the 100 Most Creative People in Business.

Jay Allardyce

Head of Industry & Ecosystem

Jay Allardyce

A seasoned technology and enterprise software leader, Jay oversees Uptake’s corporate development and partnership strategy. He was previously Chief Product and Marketing Officer for GE Digital where he was responsible for the overall product portfolio and marketing strategy. Prior to that, Jay was a founding member and Chief Operating Officer of GE's first vertical digital business, Power Digital Solutions, focused on transforming the utility market with software and analytics. Previous to GE Digital, he held senior leadership roles at Hewlett-Packard, Vertica and Adobe Capital Partners. He is based in Silicon Valley and currently serves on the board of Bizworld.org and is an advisor to Actian Corporation, an IoT data management and analytics company that was acquired by HCL for $330 million in April 2018.

Scott Bolick

Scott Bolick

Scott is an experienced operational leader and strategic consultant with a focus on high tech, including hardware, Industrial AI, and business productivity apps. He has an extensive background in portfolio strategy, software product management, and sales & marketing operations. He's held senior roles at SAP, Enterasys Networks, GE, and McKinsey & Company. He started his career as an Officer in the US Army.

Kami Bond

Kami Bond

An HR executive with extensive experience in talent management, organizational effectiveness and leadership development, Kami has held senior roles at GE Healthcare, Aon, Sapient and Cielo. Her passion for global leadership development has armed her to successfully support executives in their pursuit to align culture, values and growth. Kami holds a Bachelors in Human Resources from the University of Delaware and a Masters in Learning and Organizational Change from Northwestern University.

Greg Goff

Chief Product Officer

Greg Goff

Greg oversees all aspects of product strategy and development at Uptake. He previously served as Chief Technology Officer for Morningstar where he defined and implemented the financial services giant’s global technology strategy. Prior to that, Greg served as Senior Vice President of Global Platform Technology at The Nielsen Company and developed a single technology strategy and platform that integrated all of Nielsen’s consumer assets. He has also held past positions at Accenture and BlueMeteor.

Ravi Marwaha

Ravi Marwaha

Ravi has held senior strategic roles across a range of industries and organizations including Informatica, SAP and GE. With more than 20 years of experience in design thinking, product/corporate strategy, analytics, product management and development, and pre-sales/consulting in enterprise software, he has deep expertise in running customer success organizations in addition to analytics, building consumer apps, as well as large enterprise applications through customer co-innovation and customer/partner engagements.

Adam McElhinney

Chief of Machine Learning & AI Strategy

Adam McElhinney

Adam McElhinney leads a team of 75 data scientists building cutting-edge industrial data analytics tools. Additionally, he is an Adjunct Professor in the Computer Science and Mathematics departments at Illinois Institute of Technology and is Board president of the Chicago Chapter of the American Statistical Association. Adam has filed 18 patents related to machine learning, IoT, software engineering and big data.

Kelly McGinnis

Kelly McGinnis

A senior financial leader formerly focused on the energy industry, Kelly was previously the CFO of GE’s Power Digital business. There she was responsible for defining growth strategies, developing new business models, understanding customer economics and driving outcomes.

Andy Polovin

General Counsel

Andy Polovin

As General Counsel, Andy oversees all legal, regulatory and compliance matters at Uptake. He previously served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Northern District of Illinois and was an equity partner at Bartlit Beck Herman Palenchar & Scott LLP, one of the nation’s leading trial boutiques. Andy clerked for the Chief Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and graduated magna cum laude and Order of the Coif from Northwestern University School of Law.

Raymond Lane

Raymond Lane

Ray is a technology executive and venture capitalist best known for leading the turnaround at Oracle Corporation in the 1990’s. While Oracle’s President and COO, Ray re-established the company’s leadership in the database market and grew Oracle’s market cap by 65x to over $200 billion. After leaving Oracle, Ray became a Managing Partner with Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers for 14 years before becoming Partner Emeritus with the firm. Earlier in his career, Ray was a senior partner of Booz Allen Hamilton, a consulting company, and a division vice president with Electronic Data Systems Corporation. Ray currently serves on the boards of Carnegie Mellon University, Special Olympics International, and HPE. He was Executive Chairman of HP from 2011 to 2013 and Chairman of Carnegie Mellon University’s Board of Trustees from 2009 to 2015.

Theodore Leonsis

Ted Leonsis is a Founder and Partner of Revolution Growth as well as the Founder, Chairman, majority owner and CEO of Monumental Sports & Entertainment, which owns and operates the Washington Capitals (NHL), the Washington Wizards (NBA), the Washington Mystics (WNBA), the Washington Valor (AFL), Baltimore Brigade (AFL), and Verizon Center (downtown D.C.). Mr. Leonsis is co-executive chairman of aXiomatic, which has controlling interest in global esports franchise Team Liquid. Leonsis serves on the board of governors for the NBA and NHL as well as on the executive committee of the NHL. He previously was chairman of the NBA media committee. Leonsis served as president of America Online Services Company, president of AOL Studios, president of AOL Web Properties, vice chairman and president of AOL Core Services, vice chairman and president of AOL Audience Business and vice chairman emeritus.

Ted also founded SnagFilms, the internet’s leading site for online audiences to find, watch, and share documentary films. Ted also has been a producer of award-winning documentary films such as Kicking It, Nanking, and A Fighting Chance. Early in his career, Leonsis was the founder of several technology-enabled consumer companies, including Redgate Communications. Leonsis has been named Washington’s Businessman of the Year, Washingtonian of the Year, one of the 20 most influential people in sports, and one of the top 10 entrepreneurs of the year. Leonsis blogs daily at TedsTake.com. He sits on the board of directors of several leading companies ranging from American Express to Groupon.
