DIRECTIONS
From I-5 (north- and southbound): take the Northeast 50th Street exit, #169.) Travel west on Northeast 50th Street about 1 1/3 mile to Fremont Avenue North. Turn right into the South Gate parking lot. Parking in the Zoo lots is an additional $4. Parking is located in the main lot at the South Gate; just west of the South Gate entrance at North 50th Street and Phinney Avenue North; north of the West Gate entrance at Phinney and North 55th Street; and at the North Gate at North 59th Street (one block east of Phinney). Public transportation: From downtown at 3rd and Pike, take the #5 Metro Transit bus northbound to the West Gate entrance. Routes 5, 16, 44, and 358 all stop within blocks of the zoo. Bike routes: The King County Bicycling Guide map is available online or by calling 206.263.4700. For a Seattle bike map, call 206.684.7583.
