One Day in Yellowstone National Park

If you only have one, solitary, single day to spend in Yellowstone National Park, well, I'm sorry! There's so much to see, and the park is so vast, that you'd only scratch the surface if you even stayed for an entire week! But, if you make the single day a LONG one, you can see quite a few of the more famous sites of this fantastic National Park, along the Park Loop Road. Here are some suggestions!

The Old Faithful geyser is just a few hundred feet away from the Old Faithful Inn, along the southwestern section of the Park Loop Road. The geyser erupts about every 90 minutes. You can observe the eruption standing right next to it, or from the vantage of the mezzanine of the Old Faithful Inn.
The Old Faithful Inn is beautiful. The architecture is traditional Park style, and you can spend several happy hours exploring all over the Inn. The dining room has a great view of the park, and there's a bar for a quick beverage to take a break from your explorations.
The view is staggering, plus you have a great chance of seeing nesting Ospreys.
Do NOT miss the Upper Falls! The view is staggering, plus you have a great chance of seeing nesting Ospreys. Bring your telephoto lens!
You have a great chance to see wildlife around the Yellowstone Lake area, especially in early spring when the animals are out with their young.
