Downtown Spokane now boasts several upscale and newly renovated hotels, but with the kids in tow, the Red Lion can't be beat for location and family-friendly features. Located practically in the lap of Riverfront Park, kids will love the outdoor pool with slide and adults will love the well-appointed gym.

With a construction zone, enchanted forest, and art stations, Mobius is great for little ones through elementary-aged kids.

This sprawling downtown greenbelt offers a full carnival (turned ice skating rink in winter), historic carousel, IMAX, acres of lawn and shade, bike rentals, playgrounds, city fountains, and more. If you're staying near the park and think you'll spend a good deal of time here, consider buying the kids an all-day pass, good for any of the rides and attractions. At $12 and up, they're great deals! If you visit in the summer months, chances are good your trip will coincide with one of Spokane's many festivals housed in the park.
