What to Do In Seattle if You Only Have One SNOW Day

We don't often get snow in Seattle, but when we do, it's just one more excuse to have fun. In this city of seven hills, even a mild dusting can be enough of a reason to cancel school, beg off work, and head outdoors to play. Be sure to catch a few snowflakes on your tongue, make your own snow angel, and finish off with a spirited snowball fight.

Instead, first-time visitors are often surprised to discover it tucked away in the heart of the Phinney Ridge neighborhood. The gallery represents both renown and emerging Northwest artists, including Michael Spafford, Anna McKee, Marc Wenet and Joanne Pavlak while also handling artwork from the estates of artists like Jacob Lawrence and Mark Tobey. Postcards, books and posters are available for purchase in the upstairs gallery.
