Only a 30-minute ferry trip from downtown Seattle, Bainbridge Island is a world away from the city. The island's attractions and amenities make it an ideal spot for a getaway without having to travel far from Seattle. The island consists of two parts - the village of Winslow, clustered near the ferry terminal, and the rest of the island, which is rural, farmy and forested.
