Utah's Salt Lake City is a predominantly Mormon community and provides excellent cultural and historical learning opportunities. Heritage Park is fun to visit during the holidays as all docents dress in period clothing. In the city center, Salt Lake Temple, the Tabernacle and Temple Square are all interesting places to visit. Salt Lake has some of the nation's best skiing in winter. And each year the independent film community comes out in force to support the Sundance Film Festival in Park City. Outside the main city, Zion and Bryce Canyons afford spectacular, postcard perfect scenery and views.
