@Travelogged #Travel w/kids is like eating out w/kids: if you do it enough, gets easy! (If not, seems daunting & you psych yourself out.)

Facebook Beats Google (and FareCompare is There)

By: Rick Seaney

facebook google farecompare

Well, it’s not like we were there exactly, cheering them on from the sidelines – what I mean to say is, some of you may not know that FareCompare has a Facebook page.

Come visit. Write on our wall. See our video (and be sure to look for me with Clementine-the-Wonder-Dog in the “flying with pets” segment).

But back to the Facebook-Google brouhaha – last week, Facebook topped the perennial winner Google to become the most visited U.S. web site.

One analyst thinks that’s a reflection of how people search for what they want to know. According to Hitwise’s Matt Tatham (as quoted by CNN), “People want information from friends they trust, versus the the anonymity of a search engine.”

I can understand that when it comes to opinions, certainly. Anyone else?
