Brett Snyder

Brett Snyder is the author of the award-winning air travel blog, The Cranky Flier (crankyflier.com). His lifelong interest in the industry as well as his experience working for airlines gives him a unique perspective when writing about the airlines. Brett became the youngest known travel agent in the US at the age of 12. Since that time, he has worked in revenue management, marketing, and strategy for airlines including America West, Eos, United, and USAir. He started writing The Cranky Flier in 2006 and has since been named one of the World's Top 50 Most Powerful Blogs (The Observer Magazine) and has won two Travvies. He has been quoted in a variety of publications including the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Forbes, CNN.com, and the AP. Brett graduated from The George Washington University with his Bachelors in business in 1999 and from Stanford University with his MBA in 2004.
