Barbara Ann Weibel

After years of working in corporate jobs that paid the bills but brought her no joy, Barbara Weibel decided to pursue the only things she’d ever wanted to do: writing, photography, and travel. She strapped on a backpack and set out to travel solo around the word for six months, visiting 17 countries and blogging as she went. Now back in the U.S., Weibel continues to travel and blog about her experiences, focusing on authentic people and places that have not yet been ruined by tourism. She writes several articles per week for UpTake.com, in addition to producing content for other traditional and online publications and is currently writing a non-fiction travel narrative about her extensive travels.
