Austin Hill is the co-founder, editor and web developer of Travellious.co, based in Seattle, WA.
Travellious is created by travel addicts with a slightly rebellious nature, and they're throwing the guidebook away. Well, that is after they read it first. Too often they've seen and experienced what they call "passive travel." You've seen those people, the ones with their eyes glued to the guidebook and running through the checklists of "must-sees." Travellious is here to help you to resist the urge to blindly follow the "travel guide" by educating and empowering you to create your own travel adventure. They share their own experiences, point you to the best resources, and inspire you to travel outside the book.
Austin treats every outing like its the grand tour and he has the photographs to prove it. He also likes to eat and a pro at finding cheap, good local flavor and the place with the best beer in town. When he's not out seeing the world, he's coding to save the world.
