Location: The beach, Bucerias, Mexico

If you want to borrow money from me, now is the time to ask.  I crossed the pregnancy-brain meridian sometime in the last week — which means I’m having a really hard time focusing, I think Drew’s jokes are really, really funny, instead of just regular funny and I can’t remember anything.  I’m a terrible business partner for Drew right now, but I am fantastically agreeable.  Which might explain why Cole got his birthday present 40 days before his before birthday (a bike) but considering the baby is due just one day after his real birthday, I thought, “hey kiddo here’s a bike early” might make up for, “oh by the way when we said there’s a baby in Mama’s belly, what we really meant was THERE’S A BABY in there.  Sorry if that was hard to conceptualize.  I know you might be a bit put out by the tiny crying blob we brought home, but REMEMBER THE BIKE?  WE GAVE THAT THING TO YOU IN LIKE JANUARY!!”

Anyway, the ocean is warming up.  I’m planning on spending the next few weeks doing very little work, swimming, forgetting where I put things and crying over anything that has 1) babies 2) puppies or 3) babies and puppies.  I’ll try to keep the sobbing off the blog, but it’s happy crying, I swear!  (Poor Drew).

Maybe I should just stick to photo posts for a bit.
