You should take your family out to Temecula Duck Pond to have a picnic and spend the afternoon feeding the ducks and just hanging out at the park. It's a fun time for all ages, but kids especially like the ducks.
You don't have to spend a bundle to enjoy a great day as a family in Temecula. You can spend hours and hours at Pennypickle's Workshop in the Temecula Children's Museum. All it costs is $4.50 per person to get in, unless you want to take part in one of the special events.
The Temecula Valley Museum offers something for everyone in the family. The museum has an outdoor play area for children, picnic facilities, and docent-lead tours of the facility. Pack a lunch and stay for the day!
Old Town Temecula is free to explore, and one of the most interesting places in Temecula. The city has maintained some of the historic buildings, and you are able to explore and get a sense of the history of Temecula.
