Where can I take my kids to see some indigenous wildlife in Orange, California?
Irvine Regional Park includes the Orange County Zoo and the Harding Nature Area, both ideal for seeing wildlife. Pack a lunch and take advantage of one of the park's picnic areas.
The Orange County Zoo is unique in the way that it not only has exotic species of animals, but it also exhibits indigenous species. They also have a great educational tour for kids.
My kids always love a trip to the Starr Ranch. It features nothing but natural, indigenous wildlife like hawks, lizards, and mountain lions, and it even offers educational trips through the landscape.
