I had a great time wandering around the very lovely Celebration Park in Allen. The hiking/biking trail made for a very enjoyable stroll through the trees and around the ponds. I was by myself when I went, but I wished I had the kids with me because there are a ton of fun things geared towards kids here. They have a great playground that is handicap accessible. It is the first place I have ever heard of a sprayground, a playground with water fountains integrated in with the play gear. The kids I saw playing in the sprayground were obviously having tons of fun. Celebration Park can be a fun place with or without the kids.

Uncle Julio's has an impressive menu featuring fine Mexican and Tex-Mex cuisine. They are well known for a signature cocktail named The Swirl, which is frozen with layers of margarita and home-made sangria and very yummy. The guacamole appetizer we ordered was delicious. Uncle Julio's has an impressive menu featuring fine Mexican and Tex-Mex cuisine. They are well known for a signature cocktail named The Swirl, which is frozen with layers of margarita and home-made sangria and very yummy. The guacamole appetizer we ordered was delicious. It was made in house and very fresh. I also loved my entre; the Benito's Platter which had a cheese chile relleno, a chicken enchilada, and a pork tamale. I definitely recommend eating here while visiting Allen.

Allen Event Center

The Allen Event Center is the home to the Allen Americans pro hockey team, the Allen Wranglers indoor football team and the Tom Thumb Texas Stampede. The Allen Event Center is the home to the Allen Americans pro hockey team, the Allen Wranglers indoor football team and the Tom Thumb Texas Stampede. If you can, I recommend planning your visit around one of these sporting events to fully appreciate what makes the Allen Event Center so great to the locals. I attended a hockey game during my visit and had a blast. The crowd was great and tickets were cheap. I suggest checking ahead of time on their website for upcoming events.

Pyramids Hotel

The Pyramids Hotel in Allen, Texas is geared more towards the business traveler. It is located in the middle of Millennium Corporate Park and the rooms have large desks to work on. The Pyramids Hotel in Allen, Texas is geared more towards the business traveler. It is located in the middle of Millennium Corporate Park and the rooms have large desks to work on. But, it is also very conveniently located in downtown Allen near a lot of great restaurants. The room was awesome; large and clean with a great sitting area and a very comfortable bed. I also certainly appreciated their great exercise facility and indoor pool. It is probably not the place to stay if you are looking for a family friendly value. The rates are pricey. But, if you are looking for high quality luxury and are willing to pay for it, you will love your stay here.

Allen Premium Outlets

I don't really like to shop very much, but I did enjoy myself at the Allen Premium Outlets because I do like to save money by finding good deals. I don't really like to shop very much, but I did enjoy myself at the Allen Premium Outlets because I do like to save money by finding good deals. This is the largest outlet mall I have ever been to; about three times as large as the others. I found more shopping than I could handle. Be warned, however, that the parking lot was packed and it was a pain to find a spot; and the food court was not that impressive so I had to go hungry for a little while.

I definitely recommend eating here while visiting Allen.
