    Hiking's free, and the mountains around Santiago are filled with great trails. You can hike to Saltos de Apoquindo, which has cool waterfalls and is a relatively easy trail. It takes about 4 hours each way, so this is more of something to do if you want a day hike. More

    Do yourself a favor: skip the trek and shell out for the tram. I think it's about $12 dollars a tickets, and the views from the tram car are well worth the ticket price (as is the fact you'll still have energy for exploring when you reach the top). If you're really dedicated to doing it, it'll probably take two or three hours depending on your fitness level. More

    There are tons of clubs in Kuala Lumpur. There is the old standby Hard Rock Cafe, but there are also tons of local clubs such as Bansar and Bukit Bantang. You should always use common sense about getting home, and plan ahead so you don't get lost or have to depend on the charity of strangers. More
