THINGS TO DO

  1. Albuquerque Biological Park
"We loved the aquarium which is part of the Biological Park - that has aquarium, zoo, and botanical gardens. I wrote a review for the aquarium under the "Biological Park" before I knew there was a seperate review section for the aquarium itself. Please see my review under "Biological Park" as I included neat photos of feeding the moray eels and the red-glowing moon jelly fish! It was an awesome place to visit and it didn't take all day!" - a Tripadvisor user
  2. Indian Pueblo Cultural Center
"We visited the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center on our first day in Albuquerque. This turned out to be an excellent preparation for the remainder of our 10 day trip throughout the Southwest, as pueblo culture permeates this area. Having a basic understanding of the history and culture of the original inhabitants of the land increased the value of our trip immensely. The museum is well planned and fascinating. It's not so large that young children will become bored, but it's thorough enough to be of real value to everyone. If you're there on a weekend, make sure you time your visit so that you can view the narrated dancing performed in the central courtyard - it's definitely worth seeing. There is a restaurant here that serves traditional Pueblo Indian food for lunch. We took our time in the gift shop, so by the time we got to the cafe, it was closed. Everyone we spoke to said it was delicious, though." - a Tripadvisor user
  3. New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science
"I had visited this museum shortly after it first opened with my older two children. Twenty years later, I visited with my younger set. It was even better than I remembered. I could hardly drag the boys (including my spouse) away after hours here. They were fascinated by the displays and thorough explanations posted. Hats off to this museum for the exceptional experience they provide!" - a Tripadvisor user
