OUR TAKE ON LAS VEGAS
Vegas may be Sin City, but there are still plenty of kid friendly activities: magician Lance Burton at the Monte Carlo, "Tournament of Kings" dinner theater at the Excalibur, the World's Largest Permanent Circus at Circus Circus, buffets, Sigfriend and Roy’s white tiger garden, hiking at Red Rock Canyon and the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay For family friendly accommodations, try the La Quinta Inn Las Vegas airport, spacious and also pet friendly. Many rooms have Jacuzzi tub and small kitchenette.
If it’s just the two of you in, lodging possibilities include the luxurious Four Seasons Las Vegas. For a dining experience you won’t soon forget, Top Of The World at the Stratosphere has a fabulous view of the Strip and downtown Las Vegas. Over the course of an hour, the restaurant revolves 360 degrees for a stunning view of the city. Shoppers are in luck with upscale stores filling the mall at Ceasar’s Palace.

Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum
"I was a bit skepical about going to a wax museum but it was a blast! The wax figure look freakishly real and I love how you can interact with them(make J Lo's cheeks blush when you grab her big wax.." - a Yelp user

Liberace Museum
"Oh dear, i tend to agree with the negative comments on this board. I expected some wild, outrageous exhibit but it was incredibly depressing and quiet, located in a tiny mall 6 miles east of the strip. Apart from the few of us in the museum, there was one other guy outside using a payphone. All that was missing was the tumbleweed! You are not allowed to touch or take photos, but i wasn't inspired to do either by the unstimulating environment, honestly "funeral home" really encompasses the atmosphere here. The muesum takes about 10 minutes to view, 2 of his cars were out on loan. There is a short Liberace documentary playing upon entry, then about 5 of his cars, then 6 antique pianos of his. After that you leave that building and cross the mall to the second building which houses his jewellery and costumes. But it is all so dull & dowdy, these are some pretty awesome outfits but the lighting doesn't seem to show them off. At least the shuttle bus showed up for us, and it was free, left a tip of course. I wasn't all that keen to go in the first place, but the person I went with had been desperate to visit and she too was disappointed. Don't go out of your way to visit the Liberace museum, unless your curiosity (and boredom) has gotten the better of you!" - a Tripadvisor user
