Visiting Natick On A Budget

The Natick Historical Society's Museum lives in the basement of the beautiful Bacon Free Library in South Natick. Nestled along the bank of the Charles River, the museum can tell you about the historic spots within walking distance and the residents who shaped history. Admission is free. And so is the scenic view of the Natick Dam.
Parking is only $5. Bring your own picnic for lunch on a warm day (tables and grills available) and swim away to your heart's content. Safe, free, fun and pretty. If you want to splurge you can rent boats and tour the lake beyond the swimming beach.

This Red Roof Inn hotel is just across the Natick line in Framingham. The rates are well discounted and the rooms are clean. You can hop right off the Mass. Pike and check in before exploring all that Natick has to offer.
