Historic Rumford, Maine is situated in beautiful western Maine, near the center of Oxford County, about 75 miles north of Portland.  It’s home to the Black Mountain of Maine Ski Resort and is the gateway to lots of things to do in the great outdoors. The Androscoggin River, flows from west to east through the town. At the end of the run is the "Great Falls", the highest falls east of Niagara Falls in New York.
