New Orleans Splurge!

New Orleans provides one of the best places in the US to splurge on a trip and spend the least amount of money. After recovering from Hurricane Katrina, New Orleans has revived itself into being one of the prime travel destinations in the south. From world-class restaurants to top-notch hotels, it's hard for me to stay away from one of my favorite cities and its stellar guest service.

Luxury. The easiest way to describe the best in hotels in New Orleans is "luxury." From the time you step into the world-class lobby to when you step into your suite, you'll feel like royalty. The Kings of Queens of New Orleans have called the Ritz-Carlton home, so why can't we?
No joke, my mom's pecan pie recipe is straight from the Commander's Palace menu (just ask for it un-grilled). When you have the best pecan pie in the south, you can bet the rest of the menu is measured against greatness. Enjoy some of the local crab for me.

The best of New Orleans. This boutique hotel is everything you think of to be "New Orleans." Mason Orleans is a 5-star hotel that has earned its stars by giving everything to its guests. Just off of the main streets of New Orleans, you can escape to your luxurious room at Maison New Orleans.
Take in the sights of the below-sea-level city from water level along the Mighty Mississippi on a river cruise. Complete with an authentic dinner on an authentic steamboat, the cruise atmosphere is completed with the live jazz band on board. Prepare to fall in love with the city.

Feel like a princess in this world-class spa retreat in the heart of downtown New Orleans. Don't travel too far from your hotel at the Ritz Carlton to experience some of the best spa services in all of New Orleans.

French cuisine in this French-inspired city is a natural marriage of old world and new dining. Rated as one of the best of New Orleans, Bacco is pure luxury from amuse bouche to 2nd dessert (because you know you want two). Try the crawfish ravioli, because where else can you get crawfish ravioli? More
