The 200-acre Kansas City Zoo features the Great Ape house, the Topical Habitat Building and other exhibits. Sharing space are the American Jazz Museum, featuring interactive exhibits about the legends of jazz, and the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum with memorabilia from the days before Jackie Robinson was signed by the Brooklyn Dodgers. Speaking of baseball, visit the Harry S Truman Sports Complex where the Kansas City Royals swing their bats, and the Kansas City Chiefs play pigskin.
