As our Search Architect, you will own the overall technical architecture of our search infrastructure from data acquisition, through data cleanup and feature extraction, to filtering and ranking. You will work collaboratively with a small, highly talented team of engineers and product folks to design and implement the end-to-end system. You will be expert in search architecture and implementation and you are comfortable both leading engineers and getting hands on.
Less than three years since we launched, UpTake Networks has become the largest independent travel research site and we have helped over 30 million travelers research their trips over the last 12 months. Now that we have proven our business model we are turning out attention to the consumer experience. We are actively building out our product and engineering teams to help travelers research and make better, faster decisions about where to go, where to stay and what to do. We are growing over 200% annually and we are funded to profitability with proven investors in Shasta and Trinity Ventures.
