Le Claire, Iowa is a small town in Eastern Iowa which is considered part of the Quad cities (Davenport, Bettendorf, Rock Island and Moline). While there is not a large amount of things to see and do in the city itself, its proximity to the larger Quad cities affords plenty of options to those interested in family vacations in and around Le Claire.  

Le Claire’s main kid friendly attraction is the small but interesting Buffalo Bill Museum. Your family might enjoy browsing through its collection of memorabilia from Buffalo Bill, born in the town, as well as various steamboat and pioneer collections.

If you’re interested in shopping in Le Claire, there are a number of unique shops to explore. And if you’re in town for a quick romantic getaway, Le Claire has some fine dining restaurants, some of which have beautiful river views, and there are also plenty of more casual eateries as well as some coffee houses to relax in. A few companies offer romantic river cruises as well.
