When you go to Iowa, be sure to stop by Ames (and it's a very kid-friendly city). Ames offers more than 200 different kinds of fun activities such as Reiman Gardens, Octagon Center for the Arts, Ooh La Spa, Story County Conservation Center, and Hickory Park Restaurant Co. Ames has 127 restaurants and cafes, a plethora of fun things to do, 18 bars, five museums, and a solid number of spas. Travelers will find a whole bunch of golf courses, a garden, an art museum, a lot of stores, a park/playground, and a product.
