OUR TAKE ON WEST LAFAYETTE
On your West Lafayette Indiana vacation, there will have to be some historic, exciting sightseeing. Prophetstown is a historic must see where travelers will witness a prairie, a Native American Settlement and a 1920’s farmstead. The Kampen Family Prairie is 122 acres filled with wetlands, trees and dozens of wildflowers. The Woodland Indian Settlement was first settled upon in 1808 and is still a powerfully spiritual place. And the farmstead is a perfect way to see how people living in the 20’s would exist. Be sure to check the special events before your visit.
West Lafayette Indiana lodging can be found at the University Plaza Hotel where you will be just a mile from the Purdue University campus. It is a full service hotel with indoor and outdoor pools, free high speed internet service, and 18 of their suites have microwaves, refrigerators and kitchenettes. There is a café on site and they offer a great Sunday brunch from 11am-2pm.
