St. Patrick's Day in Chicago

If you're planning to celebrate the feast of St. Patrick (that's St. Patrick's Day if you're not Irish) in Chicago you'll need to plan in advance: the parade is held the Saturday before the 17th. This pub has the look and feel of the pubs I've visited in Ireland. This is where you head for a good pint and a relaxing chat with friends. Traditional Irish Sessions (musicians gather together and just play) on Sunday evenings end your weekend on a high note.
The Abbey is known for the wide variety of live acts that cross its stage- and its Traditional Irish Jam Session every Sunday evening. Nightly dinners and Sunday brunch feature traditional Irish recipes and some American favorites. Catch Gaelic sports (and other major sporting events) on one of 14 flat screens.
Every room is a suite so you'll have plenty of space to spread out (or just get a few minutes away from the kids).
