Twin Falls Weekend with Kids

Twin Falls is the largest city in South-Central Idaho, and is known mostly for its unique geology. If your kids are into rocks and fossils, they're going to have a blast exploring these different places around the Twin Falls area. The city still feels like a small town, so you'll find the people to be friendly and welcoming.

This clean and bright hotel sits very near the Snake River Canyon, as well as a variety of family-friendly restaurants and shops. Clean and bright, with spacious rooms. The indoor pool assures your kids of a fun way to end the day.
A comfortable, casual family restaurant with a diverse menu that will please even the pickiest of eaters. The food is fresh, and the prices are very reasonable. I recommend the Angus Sirloin.
There are thousands of fossils on display here, from mastodons to saber-toothed cats.

The Perrine Bridge is the only man-made structure in the United States to allow BASE jumping year-round without a permit.
This is a great place to teach kids about fossils and ancient animals. The Hagerman Horse is Idaho's State Fossil and is representative of the earliest known species of horse. There are thousands of fossils on display here, from mastodons to saber-toothed cats. Best thing, it's all free!
