Idaho Falls Weekend with Kids

Excellent local eatery, offering a menu of unique burgers, sandwiches, salads, and some of the best crosscut crispy fries I've ever had. A clean and casual atmosphere, great for kids. Expect to pay $9 for a burger, but they're big and juicy!
The lake even has an island at one end.

Most people who visit the Tautphaus Park Zoo for the first time are surprised by how extensive it is. With over 400 animals, including tigers, zebras, camels, monkeys, and penguins, there's plenty for your kids to "Oooh and aaah" over. A few of the highlights include the Animal Encounters Wild Animal Show and the twice-daily penguin feedings. Admission is just $6.00 for adults, $3.00 for kids 3-12. More
