UpTake Calistoga family hotels guide featuring some of the best hotels in California. Get honest kid friendly hotel reviews, for everything from discount hotels with cheap hotel rooms, to boutique and luxury hotels. Reviews are from other travelers who may have visited these hotels with babies, toddlers, and children. At UpTake we know that the kids like hotels with pools, balconies, kids’ clubs and a free breakfast so just pick the amenities you want and we will find the right hotel for you.
The Upper Napa Valley community of Calistoga, California is the perfect setting for a California Family Vacation. The downtown area is great for shopping, and the small town atmosphere both kid and pet-friendly. We recommend Harbin Hot Springs for the most affordable, kid-friendly accommodations in Calistoga. Harbin offers a range of family lodging choices with camping, hardened tent-cabins, and three different cottages for family preferring a luxurious “camp-out.”
We think Christopher’s Inn deserves its high accolades from Tourist Guides, honored with “The Golden Grape Award.” Looking for a romantic getaway package? The attentive staff at Christopher’s Inn brings breakfast-in-bed each morning, with fresh hot berry cobbler! The larger rooms included discounts for local restaurants and spas, as well as our own fireplace and Jacuzzi tub! The whole family enjoyed a fantastic ride in a Hot Air Balloon over the Pope Valley, with the Calistoga Ballooning Company
For kid-friendly, pet-friendly lodging in a more rustic setting, we traveled to the nearby Pine Gove in Cobb for an action-packed week of swimming, hiking, barn dancing, and bonfires in the evening. The cabins include cooking utensils, dishes, and even a separate room for the kids. We found the resort to be friendly, affordable, and a terrific place for a Calistoga Family Vacation.
