OUR TAKE ON WAILEA
Wailea truly is Hawaii's version of heaven, but Wailea comes at a hefty price, with lodging ranging from $200 to $1000 a night. This is why we recommend you stay in scenic Wailea for a day or two. Wailea only offers paradise to you -- no adventurous outback trails are included -- and many just stay in their lodging of choice while staying in Wailea. Vacations here are most like prolonged breaks from life. Here are some spots you should visit in Wailea:
The Shops at Wailea. With architecture modeled after rustic Spanish buildings, piercing blue waterfalls decorate the shopping areas with over 50 high end shops to choose from. Ranging from Gucci to Louis Vuitton, older kids won't want to leave. Make sure to bring your money here, since everything here is expensive.
Golfing in Wailea. Wailea hosts many championship golf courses, all nestled privately within Wailea's borders. Take your kids here for a relaxing time without the discomfort of busy city life.
Lodging in Wailea. Ranging from huge lodging sites for kids looking for adventure to couples looking for a romantic retreat, Wailea has it all. Although it has less than ten lodging facilities available, quality truly beats quantity here. Be careful when booking lodging here -- the more romantic it gets, the more pricier it gets. For cheaper lodging, head outside of town. For more vacation information about lodging, restaurants, kid friendly attractions, and more, visit Wailea's official website.
