Maui Splurge
Maui was named the Best Island in the World by Conde Nast Traveler for 12 years in a row. It has beautiful beaches, warm tropical breezes, swaying palms, lush jungles and crystal clear ocean waters. Plus, it has the perfect mix of adventure, peace and quiet, and an active night life. There are a multitude of excellent restaurants to choose from and numerous daytime activities. The ocean temperature is generally in the 80s, and the air temperature is just as balmy.

If you only do one luau, do this one. It is the most authentic, with great food, and an abundance of Hawaiian history. It's very educational, as well as being fun and delicious. Reserve before your trip, as it books up in advance.

There are many pricey restaurants on Maui, but at this one, you actually feel like you get your money's worth. The food is sublime, the service superb, and the atmosphere unbeatable. Lunch or dinner, either is wonderful.
The new Kapalua Adventure Center offers many fun activities. There is a golf course, zip lines, a ropes course, and numerous hiking trails with gorgeous views. It is also a nice place to have lunch.
This company is known for their customer service. They offer all-day trips to Lanai or snorkeling at the nature preserve at Molokini. Delicious food. A great family experience!

Blue Hawaiian is one of the best known helicopter tours in Hawaii. More importantly, they have one of the best safety records. That's why I chose them when I sent my husband on a helicopter ride for his birthday (I wanted him to come back.) They did the West Maui and Molokai tour. He came back grinning from ear to ear. More
