Laie, Hawaii

Laie, Hawaii Hotels, Things to do, and Vacation Information.

A peaceful escape from Honolulu, Laie is located along the scenic Kamehameha Highway, encompassing most of Oahu's famous North Shore.  With such attractions such as Laie Point, Laie Beach Park, and the famous Polynesian Cultural Center, it is no wonder why Laie has become Hawaii's hottest place to vacation this year.  No matter if you're taking the kids for a family-filled vacation or want to spend it alone with a loved one, you'll find something memorable here in scenic Laie.  To entertain yourself (or the kids), we suggest visiting these attractions:

The Polynesian Cultural Center.  Hawaii's biggest living museum, this is Hawaii's version of the Korean Folk Village in South Korea.  Live performers re-tell the ancient past of their heritage through dance, song, and daily performances.  Kids will especially love going here.

Laie Point.  The most scenic spot in Laie, Laie Point overlooks the Pacific Ocean, stretching out to the east.  People head here during the evening for a romantic stroll along the north shoreline.

Laie Beach Park.  Just south of Laie, kids love heading here during the day when the waters are extra cool.  People like visiting Laie Beach Park during the early morning for an early, romantic stroll away from busy tourists.

Local Lodging.  Nothing beats the lodging here in Laie.  Locally designed with Polynesian decor, lodging here is intimate and romantic.
