OUR TAKE ON HAWAII

Hawaii - land of gorgeous beaches, volcanoes and stunning waterfalls. The Big Island's Mount Kilauea is volcanic and puts on quite a display. Honolulu is home to Iolani Palace, the United States' only royal palace. Waikiki has some of Hawaii's best beaches, nightlife and shopping. On Maui, you can attend a luau or take a scenic drive down the Hani Highway. Kauai's Waimea Canyon and Na Pali Coast are gems you won't want to miss. Hawaii is truly a tropical paradise.
Probably the most popular vacation destination in the world, Hawaii is actually a collection of islands in the Pacific.  Besides enjoying the various blends of food available in Hawaii, there are natural attractions also, including Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and Puukohola Heiau, a Hawaiian temple.  Also a popular vacation spot for honeymooners, Hawaii offers a lot of romantic attractions and lodging right along its scenic coastline.

For starters, take kids to the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, the number one attraction in Hawaii.  This park has the only active volcanoes in the United States, which your kids can view within safe distance.  Kids can also visit the local museum to learn more about volcanoes.

When they're done exploring the volcanoes, take them to Hilo to eat at local restaurants and take a dip in the Pacific.  Your kids might want to stay on the beaches all day long, but make sure to pry them into local lodging off the shore.

If you're coming to Hawaii for your honeymoon, look no further than Kailua-Kona.  On Hawaii's western coast, Kailua-Kona has a lot of romantic restaurants and sights available to explore for cheap.  Lodging here is also very accommodating, topped off with a complimentary toast and a pleasant sun set.
