Pine Mountain Vacations, Tourism & Travel Information

OUR TAKE ON PINE MOUNTAIN

Located near the Appalachian Mountains, Pine Mountain is a true southern town located one hour south of Atlanta.  The town is normally quiet during the fall and receives most of its visitors during the summer, when people vacation here to hike the mountains nearby.  Famous for their southern cooking, you'll find a lot to do here with your kids.

As a great starter to an exciting family vacation, stop by Georgia's biggest state park, the F.D. Roosevelt State Park.  Miles of romantic state trails circle these state park and most families spend their entire day here.  Kids can visit the visitor's building here to learn more about this famous state park.  Otherwise, head back into town to visit the Wild Animal Safari, a kid friendly attraction.

There are romantic options for couples also.  Callaway Gardens, one of Pine Mountain's most famous attractions, is a beautiful romantic spot frequented by couples.  The lodging accommodations inside of town make Pine Mountain very popular with couples, especially during a honeymoon.  Lodging includes cabins, hotels, and ranches, but we suggest going the modern route.  Remember, lodging here is affordable for any budget so make sure to stay here.  For more vacation information about Pine Mountain, including attractions and romantic options, please visit their website.
