Atlanta, just 35 miles away from the capital.
When it comes to fun and recreation, Peachtree City has it all,
including huge shopping areas, over 90 miles of scenic, romantic paths, and
over 80 restaurants. A mainstay for
older families and grandparents, people skip Atlanta to visit Peachtree City
instead, which always proves to be a better experience that Atlanta, which is
more commercialized and busy.
If you're planning a family vacation here, visiting the shopping district is a must. Buy your kids specialty souvenirs at their local shops or check out local antiques at a local antique store. Over 80 restaurants are located in downtown Peachtree City, including ethnic choices for your kids to try out.
If you're leaving the kids at home and want to go on a romantic vacation, make sure to visit the parks and local golf courses around Peachtree City. Peachtree City is famous for their recreation, including tennis courts and scenic, romantic trails along their famous lakeside parks.
