Located 80 miles north of Atlanta, is the scenic city of Ellijay, Georgia, otherwise known as the Apple Capital of Georgia. This natural wonder entices visitors with its mild climate, beautiful blossoms and apples, there’s something to see any time of year.  The area is also known as a growth area for wineries and has acre after acre of gorgeous greenery and several natural wonders.  Visit Carters Lake, the deepest man-made lake East of the Mississippi River, the Amicalola Falls State Park with the highest waterfall east of the Mississippi, see the 855 foot mystery wall at  Fort Mountain State Park, or spend the day in the Chattahoochee National Forest in the Appalachian Mountain Range.  With some many state parks in the area, there’s a wealth of outdoor activities for you to take part in, we recommend some fishing or a round of golf at the Whitepath Golf Course.
