You said you wanted to splurge, right? You can easily spend $200 for two people here, even if you decide not to order that $15 glass of wine. The crab cakes are beyond delicious, and the four course prix fixe menu is a good choice at around $75 per person if you don't want to completely break the bank (though it's $115 per if you order wine.) The scallops, the lamb, the desserts...all heavenly, and the menu changes to suit the season - everything is organic. Atlanta's best? Very likely.
I'm from San Diego, and the sushi here is easily as good if not better than any I've had out there.
Yes, the steak here is extraordinary. But order the eggplant fries, seriously. The prices here are not as insane as they might be at other top-notch steakhouses, but the food is every bit as good. Nothing stuffy about the service, either. Order all the sashimi you can afford, the octopus salad and the chef's choice if you're feeling adventurous. Go for lunch if you'd like to save some money.

Cafe Intermezzo defines the word "splurge" in every way. The desserts, while pricey, are insanely indulgent. The alcoholic coffee drinks shimmer with Baileys and vodka and they warm you right up. Go ahead and loosen your belt buckle a bit for this one! While most desserts are easily big enough to share, sharing isn't really splurging is it? Get two and nibble at both.
