Be prepared to spend a few bucks for parking as free public access is basically non-existant, which is probably why the beach stays so nice!
Go shopping, grab a bite to eat, have a drink or catch a movie. You can do it all at Baywalk, an open air shopping plaza filled with trendy (and chain) businesses. You could easily spend an entire day just in Baywalk alone, but you'd better budget for it! A day of sushi, shopping and 3D movies won't be cheap.
