Jacksonville Splurge!

I love taking the weekend away from "real life" to splurge on myself. Driving out the beach, taking a night cruise, pampering myself, and just relaxing is my idea of splurging. Jacksonville and the Jax Beaches have plenty to offer to treat myself to a weekend trip to get away from it all. Moms will appreciate some time away from the kids, the kids will appreciate a break from homework, and guys need their own time away from work.

One of the best hotels in Jacksonville, the Omni is where I can escape my troubles and let them pamper me all weekend. Morton's, The Steakhouse - Jacksonville Restaurant

To me, splurge means steak. The best steak. Morton's in downtown Jacksonville is the exact place I need to enjoy one of the best steaks in the South. Make sure to make a reservation because the wait time can be extensive, and when you're on a splurge weekend away, you know you don't want to spend your time waiting for a dinner table.

Sawgrass Country Club

True luxury. True indulgence. True relaxation. Take time out to go on a couple's golf round at TPC at Sawgrass. This PGA course is the best rated course in all of north Florida, and the greens can't be beat. Sawgrass is the best of a splurge weekend. photos courtesy TPC

Old-World style French cuisine is on the menu and at your wino fingertips at the Wine Cellar. Dine outside in the garden patio or inside at a perfectly set table. Make reservations well ahead of time as wait time can be excessive. Dress your best for this award-dinning cuisine.
