OUR TAKE ON MILLSBORO

The Town of Millsboro in Delaware is a historic community that began as a rural farming community occupied by Native Americans known as Assateagues. Then, due to its location, which is the first point on the Indian River, the white settlers who came built a dam and a bridge. Since then, the progress of Millsboro was unstoppable, making it a center for commerce in Southern Delaware. Travelers who take Millsboro vacations will be surprised at the many fun attractions that this town can offer. First, there is a tax-free shopping complex in which more than 100 stores participate. Millsboro vacations become unforgettable shopping expeditions because of the wide variety of items that are for sale. Second, there is the Baywood Greens, an 18-hole golf course that is right in the middle of a resort community called Long Neck. In this community, travelers will be amazed at the acres of man-made ponds, sand bunkers, and timber bridges. Third, there is the Nanticoke Indian Museum which displays the traditions of the Tidewater People.  The artifacts and tools found in the museum bore testament to the peaceful yet interesting culture of the Nanticoke tribe. Fourth, there are parks where the travelers can spend lazy sunny days. There is the Atkins Park, which has the Millsboro Little League Complex, and there is the Cupola Park, which faces the Indian River. And fifth, there are numerous nearby coastal resorts where the best of Millsboro restaurants can be found.
