I visited this town with my husband on two occasions. It was meant to be a relaxing romantic getaway, which it was.

The Addy Sea B&B is located in Bethany Beach, DE and it's right on the beach.
This Hotel had some really unique features, like the glowing sinks. Their bathroom sinks have this iridescent shine to them, and are back lit by blue lights, so they glow at night. This Hotel had some really unique features, like the glowing sinks. Their bathroom sinks have this iridescent shine to them, and are back lit by blue lights, so they glow at night. I realize it's a seemingly small feature, but I was mesmerized by these. They also had an ice bucket in each room that holds a charge and changes colors. These items are what sets one hotel apart from the others - the special touches! We had a delightful stay, and would definitely suggest this to friends/family/blog readers.

We ate here earlier this year and loved it! It has a casual dining feel, but what we loved is that everything is made fresh. They have a butcher that takes care of their meats, and they make their own marinades and BBQ sauces, and they are delicious (and for sale too)
I came across this restaurant when planning a visit to Bethany Beach, DE and loved the sound of this restaurant with it's selection of filet mignon, crab cakes, lamb and other assorted meals and desserts. After contacting the owner, Dana Banks, she generously invited us to come and visit the restaurant, and I am so glad she did.

I came across this restaurant when planning a visit to Bethany Beach, DE and loved the sound of this restaurant with it's selection of filet mignon, crab cakes, lamb and other assorted meals and desserts. After contacting the owner, Dana Banks, she generously invited us to come and visit the restaurant, and I am so glad she did.
My meal consisted of filet mignon with a cherry demi-glaze sauce, green beans, and mashed potatoes. The steak was seasoned beautifully and cooked to perfection. Growing up I hated eating steaks because I had to work so hard to eat it, but this piece of meat was so tender, it practically melted in my mouth and the glaze was a perfect compliment to the filet.
If you love burgers and fries and don't have a peanut allergy than this is the place to go for a quick bite to eat. I say "no peanut allergy" because they have bins of peanuts for customers to munch on while they wait for their order. This would be a nightmare for someone with this allergy, but for everyone else . . . enjoy!
