OUR TAKE ON WINTER PARK
Winter Park is the town that has earned the name of “Colorado’s Highest” because its downtown area is at 9,100 feet and the highest point is at 12,060 feet. But it is not just known for its elevated location. Winter Park is also known as a major tourist destination, especially those who plan on taking on the challenge of the Continental Divide. In fact, at the town’s highest peak, the travelers can find the Winter Park Resort, the most popular ski area in the state of Colorado. Some people may assume that Winter Park vacations happen only during winter and that during summers, there is nothing to do in this town. The opposite is true. For visitors, there are numerous things to do in Winter Park at any time of the year. Superb dining and great shopping experiences await the travelers to this town. In fact, on the last day of May and the first day of June, there is going to by a Rocky Mountain Wedding Showcase. In July, there will be a Winter Park Jazz Festival. The more adventurous travelers may also engage in fishing, biking, rafting, and touring this alpine community. Winter Park accommodations also make it a point to make guests very comfortable and able to unwind and relax.
