Telluride, Colorado, known as the festival capital of the Southwest, draws millions of tourists each year. From Wine festivals to Jazz festivals, the events calender is always full. It is also one of the top ten ski resorts in North America, being surrounded by stunning 13,000 foot peaks. The town's history is steeped in gold, and has become a National historic landmark district. A great way to explore Telluride is by a historic walking tour, which begins at the historical mueum.
