Our Take on Grand Lake, Colorado
The City of Grand Lake in Colorado is a place of adventure for the whole family. The family may want to conquer the icy slopes by skiing or by riding in snowmobiles. Or the family may want to enjoy the glorious view of the Colorado landscapes by staying in one of the Grand Lake lodges. Definitely, there is something exciting and one of a kind while the whole family is very near the National Forest. If you and your family are up to this adventure, some of the places to check out are the Grand Adventures, the Grand Lake Metropolitan Recreation District, and the Mad Adventures. At the Grand Adventures, which is located on Main Street, the family will not only have easy access to the National Forest but to other vital tourist necessities, such as restaurants and hotels. After checking in, the family can follow the snowmobiling trails and reach the Winter Park Ski area and the Fraser Valley. The family can go as high as 12,000 feet and enjoy the Continental Divide. It does not matter if a person has never been on a snowmobile before because the backcountry of Grand Lake is also ideal for beginners. At the Grand Lake Metropolitan Recreation District, the family can play in the 18-hole golf course or in one of the tennis courts. And at the Mad Adventures, the family can take on the challenge of whitewater rafting.
