Coulter Group Campground

The Los Angeles basin side of the San Gabriell Mountains drive to La Canada via the I-210 (Foothill Freeway) to State Highway 2 (Angeles Crest Highway) off ramp, exit the freeway and turn north uphill towards the mountains. Stay on State Highway 2 25.25 miles to the lower Chilao Road (Forest Service Road 3N21), turn left onto lower Chilao road. Proceed west 0.2 miles to the first road to left, enter the Little Pines Loop of Chilao Campground. Proceed to campsite #17, turn right on the next road with white gate to Coulter Group Site.
