In neighboring cities, Sunnyvale is best known for the plethora of strip malls that line El Camino, but it has so much more to offer! There are a tiny historic shopping district, lots of parks, and some interesting nightlife. For travelers from farther afield, one of the most appealing aspects of Sunnyvale is its convenience to the rest of the Bay Area; a train from the downtown station whisks passengers up to San Francisco in a single hour.
