Romantic Getaway in Stinson Beach

Thirty eight minutes from San Francisco, this spectacular seaside town is unique and unmatched among others. Stay right in town at the Sandpiper Inn, or in the exceptional Mountain Home Inn on Mount Tamalpias, and hike down to Stinson for a lovely day on the beach. You can easily spend an entire day lying on the white sand beach, reading, or just staring dreamily out at the scope of sea and mountains that surrounds you. Visit the Audubon Canyon Ranch, mountain bike along the Dipsea Trail or just spend an afternoon walking along the beach.

Fabulous views and meals await you at Mountain Home Inn. Perched high above the clouds on Mount Tam, the views are stupendous and the atmosphere is peaceful and otherworldly. After a delicious breakfast at the inn, hike or bike down the Dipsea Hiking Trail to Stinson Beach.
The romantic Sandpiper Inn is located right in the town of Stinson Beach. The large, clean rooms, are cloistered among lovely gardens. From the inn, you are only short walk to the beach, shops, restaurants and bars, and just a drive to Muir Woods, Mount Tamalpias, and the town of Bolinas.

Right on the main town strip of Stinson Beach (coastal highway 1) the historic Sand Dollar Restaurant offers great seafood dinners and perfect beer-battered fish and chips for lunch. They also offer a tasty brunch on weekends.

The Parkside Cafe has the local's stamp of approval. This is high-end diner food at its best: scrumptious breakfasts, lunches, and all American, down-home cuisine. Moderately priced considering it is so near the beach.
This is a great place to hike, attend educational events, and have a picnic lunch.

I am the Vice President of an international, non-profit conservation organization, Save the Turtles, Inc. My eight years as a hands-on VP has provided me with plenty of experience writing web content, proposals, ad copy, brochures, fliers, promotional material, letters of inquiry (the list could go on and on.) Writing for Save the Turtle's website has provided me with great exposure to the concepts and practices of SEO. It seems that we have done rather well as our Google ranking is most often number one on the page. Although, I am still on the board of Save the Turtles and every bit as passionate about saving endangered species as ever, I am currently also enjoying another incarnation as a freelance writer. I love, love, love writing travel blogs! Lately, I have been writing for Uptake.com. and Mynatour, an eco-travel site based in London. I have also written an number of articles for other sites covering such wide-ranging topics as health, food, real estate, and science. My goal, with each writing assignment, is to match each clients individual needs by writing with an appropriate "voice" and level of readability for each unique, target audience. Please feel free to scroll and read!
